About Sunny Kids Vintage
Sunny Kids Vintage was founded by me, Christina while I was at home with my daugther on maternity leave. I wanted to dress her in unique, fun, and cool vintage pieces that reminded me of what I wore as a child. As I started hunting for vintage gems, I found so many cool pieces with plenty of life and play left in them!
My love for vintage started years ago when I was studying in London (Thank you, Georgie!) Since then, thrifting has been a passion, and when I became a mum, I naturally started hunting for vintage finds for my daughter too. That’s how it all began. As I started collecting vintage clothes for my daughter, that’s when the idea of starting an online shop with kids vintage came to life. I wanted to create a fun & colorful place where you can easily find unique & fun pieces for your kids too! Vintage has become very popular and accessable for grown ups, but what about the kids!
Thrifting for vintage treasures is something I love to do. Every item has a story, making it so much more than just a piece of clothing. It brings a sense of nostalgia and is a more sustainable way to shop for your kids. And it’s so much fun dressing your kids in these one of a kind outfits!
All items are thoughtfully handpicked by me. I’m always on the lookout for vintage gems, whether I’m traveling or scrolling online from the couch. I spend an absurd amount of time thrifting for vintage pieces. I love to find those special & quirky pieces, bring them back to life again and give them a place where they can shine. And I’m guessing that’s why you’re here, because you love them too.
I adore every single item I source and running this little business has become so much more than a hobby. There’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes like washing and repairing. I pour my heart and soul into it. I love to curate themed drops that fits the different seasons of the year. Some of the clothes might show signs of a long and playful life, its a part of the charm right? Every item is carefully quality checked and I will always add a photo and description of minor flaws. This shop is a small contribution in a world with too many clothes. Being pals with the planet while dressing in cool clothes is the best way!
